Cabin Announcements Occasionally, airline attendants make
an effort to make the in-flight safety lecture" and their other
announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that
have been heard or reported:
From a Southwest Airlines employee.... "Welcome
aboard Southwest Flight XXX to YYY. To operate your seatbelt, insert the
metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It
works just like every other seatbelt, and if you don't know how to
operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised. In
the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, oxygen masks will descend
from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your
face. If you have a small child traveling with you, secure your mask
before assisting with theirs. If you are traveling with two small
children, decide now which one you love more.
POLY FIBER AEROTHANE
POLY FIBER AEROTHANE is
tough and flexible. It is resistant to solvents, chemicals, abrasions, and
weather. It is a two part high-gloss polyurethane recommended as the best
quality fabric finish over Poly-Fiber covering materials and all primed
metal, glass fiber components on fabric covered aircraft.
Also recommended
to refinish suitably rejuvenated nitrate and butyrate dope-coated aircraft
fabric surfaces, all old sound finishes on metal and glass fiber or metal
boat hulls, automotive truck and industrial equipment.
POLY FIBER THINNER, REDUCER: Use UE-820
POLY FIBER RETARDER: Use UR-826, from 1 to 6 ounces per gallon of catalyzed
enamel when necessary to delay surface drying and provide smooth flow out. ACCELERATOR: UX-825, 1 to 2 ounces per gallon of catalyzed enamel.
One ounce will cut pot life of paint approximately 4 hours.
POT LIFE: 7 hours @ 77F. Do not add reducer to extend the pot life
after material had thickened. May be stored in refrigerator at or below 30F
for up to 24 hours.
CLEAN UP: MEK or UE820
SHELF LIFE : 4
years unopened in protected storage. Avoid long term storage over 100F. Not
affected by freezing.
