Voyager Powered Parachute from Paraski
Voyager - Best Commercial

Para-Ski International introduced their new Voyager PPC at Sun N Fun, walking away with the Best Commercial Award, they also won Reserve Grand Champion for their F30 Top Gun.

The Voyager features two 65 hp Hirth engines mounted with engines offset toward the center thrust line. According to the manufacturer the craft can be flown solo with one engine and maintain altitude but will loose altitude gradually if two are on board.

Another unique feature of the Voyager is that it has a new "variable angle of attack" mechanism which allows the pilot to change the angle of attack of his wing which allows the Voyager to reach speeds in excess of 50 mph. This is done by using a variable center control stick which locks in at different locations for different angles of attack.

The Voyager is also going to be the test bed for a new crop spraying system, thus the large rear seat shown above will be replaced with a spray tank and necessary equipment. When not used for spraying the plane will actually seat two in rear and one in front.

According Joe Albanese because of the new style of suspension, and the wider stance the Voyager will not be set up with the Para-Ski amphib float gear system - BUT Joe indicates that in the very near future Para-Ski International will be introducing something new that will revolutionalize powered parachute operation on water!

Para-Ski Internationals Top Gun PPC
Top Gun Reserve Grand Champion

Para-Ski International's Top Gun which won Reserve Grand Champion was also their first modular construction PPC. The principal behind this is that the single engine two place PPC is now being built in seven sub components which are bolted together, rather than a whole airframe welded as one unit. This allows for easier shipping and in the case of damage in the field quicker and easier repair.
