The Titan Aircraft company
manufacturers of the Titan single and two place ultralight and
experimental aircraft used Sun N Fun to introduce the latest
addition the T-51 replica. The first 100 craft sold are
being offered at a discounted dealer price.
It is
estimated the kit will take 600 hours to build, and the kit
will include all required material, components and fasteners, but
does not include engine, propeller and instruments.
The
T-51 is designed to a +9g/-6g load limit at 1232 lbs gross weight,
and with landing gear retracted is estimated to be able to cruise
in excess of 150 mph, with a stall of 39 mph. Empty weight is 660
lbs. with a wing span of 24 feet and a wing area of 118 sq ft.
Cabin width is 24 inches. Fuel capacity 24 gallons.
