A man goes to the doctor and says, "Doctor, wherever I touch, it hurts."
The doctor asks, "What do you mean?"
The man says, "When I touch my shoulder, it really hurts. If I touch my knee - OUCH! When I touch my forehead, it really, really hurts."
The doctor says, "I know what's wrong with you - you've broken your finger!"

Suzuki Metro Geo aircraft engine conversion CGS Hawk

CGS Hawk - The CGS Hawk celebrates it's twentieth birthday this year, with "Chucks Glider Service" - entering it's 30th year of full time operation. With CGS's entry into the world "Junkyard Wars" it was interesting to see a two place CGS Hawk on display at Paradise City with a "junkyard engine."

That is Fred Anderson of Florida had his partially completed two place Hawk on display with a Metro Geo engine using a Raven ReDrive.  Fred purchased a low mileage Metro Geo engine from a scrap yard and then purchased the Raven Re Drive kit.

Currently there are two customers building Hawks using the Metro Geo and Raven Re Drive. According to Chuck, owner of CGS and designer of the Hawk the installation is about the same weight as a 582 Rotax, puts out about 60 hp, and is a very straight forward engine mounting installation, using stock parts supplied by CGS.
