using modern construction methods and materials, Euro Advanced Light

Comet is powered by a Rotax 912 S or 914 Turbo, it has an empty weight of
606 lbs and a maximum gross of 1145. Cruise speed comes in at 115
mph with a stall of 40 mph. Fuselage construction features steel and
aluminum tubing, and GRP laminate covered in Ceconite.
The wings are composite with the rear section covered in ceconite, with
aluminum flaperons and rolled metal wing rigging wires. The Comets design
load is +6 / -3 g.
The kit is as a 60% or 80% prefabricated kit and the kit contains all
airframe items needed to build a ready to cover structure, with all steel
parts welded and coated, rear aluminum section, tail and stabilizer parts
prefabricated, bent and cut. The only thing not included in the kit are
the small common parts such as fuel line and bowden cables.
Options include instruments for rear cockpit, stainless steel exhaust,
and double enclosed canopy kit.
