L'il Hustler Ultralight
Aviation Services runs ground schools for
Canadian ultralight
pilots on a bimonthly basis or when numbers
warrant it. The ground school is a weekend
course running for two
consecutive days Saturday and Sunday, from 8:30 am till 6:30 PM.
The course curriculum covers all material required by Transport Canada for issue of
a ground school certificate. With this certificate and the necessary flight time the
student can then write the Transport Canada Ultralight Pilot's exam.
The ultralight ground school taught by L'il Hustler Ultralight Aviation Services was the
first accepted by Transport Canada, and is taught by Ultralight Aircraft News
Canada's first licensed commercial ultralight pilot. The course covers all the requirements for the issue
of an ultralight permit. This includes rules, regulations, weather, navigation, aircraft
engines, propellers, aircraft control systems and theory of flight.
Class size is limited and
pre-registration is necessary.
