Ultralight Flight training:
|
|
| L'il Hustler Ultralight Aviation
is the oldest ultralight flight training facility in Canada teaching
ultralight pilots how to fly since 1978.
The ground school taught
was the first accepted by Transport Canada when ultralight flight
training was introduced. |
|
|
The course covers all the
requirements for the issue of an ultralight permit. This includes rules
and regulations, weather, navigation, aircraft engines, propellers,
aircraft control systems and theory of flight. Class size is limited.
Ultralight flight training at
L'il Hustler Ultralight Aviation is done on the L'il Buzzard or L'il
Hustler series of two place ultralight trainers. These craft
feature side by side seating, dual
controls, and three throttles so students can fly in the configuration
that they are most comfortable with. The adjustable seats
allow for pilots from 5 feet to 6 feet 6 inches.
The Rotax engine supplies heat
to the pilots via a heater located up under the dash for comfortable
training throughout the season.
While the government minimum
requirement to obtain an ultralight permit is 10 hours of flight time,
experience has shown that most students take between 15 and 19 hours to
obtain their license.

$185.00 per hour
