The unit is the dream of Walter LaCourse and his family. To get it to and from the airport you just retract your landing gear and start pedaling, as the 4 wheel Billet converts from a plane to a 12 speed bike with a planetary transmission.

The bike control system and brakes double for your control system, which is standard push right to go right, left to go left.  When flying,  a battery and electric motor supply power for the retractable landing gear.  Walter  has been using his trade as a tool and die maker to fabricate the parts.

While the current weight of the unit is just over 150 lbs , Walter believes that with new materials that will be coming out in the near future he will be able to get it down to  60 lbs.
The current budget has stalled progress on the wing and propulsion system until next year.
